I go every two weeks. Definitely allows me to keep my opiate needs down.
Years ago a massage therapist followed this technique on me many times, it hurt like H but it sure did help alot!!...wish he was still around.
Actually my PCP, an Internal Medicine Doctor of Osteopathy does a fascia release in my SIJ area every few weeks. I find it very helpful. It is one of the few things that relieves some of my pain.
I think it is worth a try. In my opinion if it is done correctly it certainly can't hurt.
Of course she also does other things like OTM (Osteopathic Manipulation Therapy) which includes myofascial release.
What kind of a practitioner is offering this procedure? I know that some D.O.'s practice this technique. In my opinion they are the best.
