I had this same thing, they did everything , even giving me shots in my heel. Well finally went back to a doctor that I went to a long time ago in a different time. He told me to do one exercise which he showed me, I did it and the pain went away and has never came back.
Stand near a wall, be about an arms length away from it. Place palms on wall, and keeping feet flat on floor lean toward wall. Sort of like doing a wall push-up. It was almost a miracle. He said the pain was being caused by: Plantar fasciitis, it is the most common cause of heel pain. The plantar fascia, a band of tough tissue connecting the heel bone to the toes, becomes irritated or inflamed. This exercise stretches the fascitis.
Hope it works for you. God Bless.
See a neurologist. He might want you to get a lumbar MRI to rule out disk problems. He might try you on Lyrica.
