Gow long before lortab gets out of system?

I wonder if anyone knows how long before Lortab (or generic) is out of a person's system? My husband had blood tests at his Drs office that did not show he was taking the Lortab prescribed by tht Dr. But he is taking it daily. The Dr is now questioning where the Lortab is - this is nuts. Help please?

Why does the doctors notlisten to their bread and butter.I will not lie to get a drug I do not like to take them anyway. But it helps me make through the day. But they all think you lie. You are selling the stuff. Whythe h--- would I. I do not want to go to jail go to another doctor what a joke same thing only you have to start from scratch. Prove to them you need it. What is wrong with the doictors now days. After the big money is all. They do not care about you as a paiteint at all. It feels like when I went to the army to go to nam stand in line shot after shot test after test like a herd of cattle. Is there any good ones left in the world.

If your doc is not seeing it in your system, there is not a whole lot you can do. Take it in front of him, tell him about your routine, ask him why on earth he might think you are not taking them.
Are you taking any meds that your doctor does not know about? There are so many factors that contribute to the body's synthesis of Lortab...you need to figure out what that one factor is. Lortab is NOT a heavy duty narcotic/opiate painkiller...therefore it can be metabolized quicker in the system.

Loratab I went to my doc yesterday and they did a urin test the week before he told me that if he did not see loratab in my system he will take it away. Well I do take 2 a day and drink a lot of pop and eat. I do not know why he could not find it. I take another drug and it showed up but not loratab. I do go to the bathroom a lot does it wash out with your urin. When you go? How can I convince him I do take it. purple

It can take up to 72 hrs for your system to push the Lortab, however, that is a general time for the population.

Depending upon the body size, the liver's ability to cleanse, and sometimes your diet (large amounts of water and various other things)...the body just pumps everything completely clean.

I once had a urine test turn up as 100% water, no joke. I was accused of mixing water into my sample cup...why the hell would I want to do that?

So...don't stress the docs. They are just doing their jobs, but, sometimes they get a little absurd with it.

If your taking your meds everyday they will be in your system. Ittakes 3 days for all traces to be gone for a drug test to say negitive for the drug. There are mistakes made such as in the lab ect so  would try and talk the dr into another test but I seriously doubt he will. The dea is sooo bad these days dr just wont take a chance on ANYONE .  I had the same problem but I was sick and meds were not in my system and I told them before hand but they would not listen so you will just have to find another dr prabaly.
