Greetings to All

I just wanted to introduce myself to newer members and send greetings to our long term members. I have been the Community Leader for this forum for a number of years. Sadly I have been absent far too long.

Life happened and gave me some nasty sucker punches. My medical condition worsened and I lost some very close family and friends including my beloved Mom, my baby granddaughter, my best friend and many other close relatives and long time friends. I've learned a lot.

It's great to read the wonderfully informative responses to the questions and concerns posted in our community. Super job members. You Rock and I'm proud to be part of this great community.

I hope to get to know our new members. Please feel free to message me or send me a note if you have any questions or just want to chat. It'll take me a bit to get to get my Sea Legs back or better stated, my MedHelp legs. :o)  I'll be here daily unless I'm traveling.

I will encourage everyone to begin a new thread when they have a question instead of hijacking or resurrecting old threads. This allows the new "post" or thread greater visibility both on this site and when others may be searching the net with a similar concern. The new thread should obtain more responses than when posting on the bottom of an old thread that may or may not be seen. So please all, let's begin that practice again. It's a win-win all around.

I'll end with one of my favorite and applicable "Gilda" quotes:

I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way,
that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a
clear beginning, middle, and end.  Life is about not knowing,
having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it,
without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.

Wishing you all Better Health and Comfort,
Tuck

Hi. It's good to see you back. I'm a long time member of Medhelp but I do remember you.
I'm so sorry about everything you've been through lately. It sounds like maybe your medical conditions have improved a little?

Thanks Optmus for your kind words. I'm very happy to hear from you also. I can't tell you how much I missed you as well as my other friends at MH. You've been a great supporter here and offered so much. I hope you will be here often.

Kalvin, Thank you too. You are so kind. Yes I am originally from the Badger State. I returned for several months when my mom became ill and passed, I was fortunate to still have a home there. We did sell that and bought a small cottage in WI in a resort community. I've not been able to sever all ties to my home state. My adult children are still there as are the majority of my family. .I'm glad you too are still on MedHelp. You also are an asset.

I look forward to reading both of your inputs and supportive posts.

  Hugs

Welcome back.
Sorry for your personal losses and  worsening health condition. I think a lot of us can relate.Hopefully things have begun to settle down a bit for u.

Lots of old members have been through here looking for you, over the years. Probably because you were such a strong presence and helped so many here, for so long. I think I recall you being from the Badger state as well?

Thank You! I truly missed MedHelp and it's members. To use your good analogy, I felt "lost at sea"  while I was absent.

I have enjoyed reading your knowledgeable responses to questions and concerns. I too shall look forward to your future correspondence.

Take Care,
~Tuck

Tuck, welcome back. Your voice of reason and knowledge has been missed, especially in a time when pain management so badly needs both of these hard-found qualities.

We all sail in this life of waves, up and down through the peaks and troughs, on a ship that more often than not, feels as if it has no rudder. I'm very pleased to know that the waves have carried you back here to medhelp and I'll be looking forward to future correspondence.

All the best.

Thanks Wobby.

I'd like to Welcome you, though it's a bit tardy. We would very much like you to be an active member of our community.

I learn something new everyday too. Isn't life exciting! MedHelp has gotten a many (including myself) through some dark or difficult days, answered a lot of questions or just as important - offered support and understanding.

Together we are stronger!

My Best to You,
Tuck

Thanks Remar,

I do remember you also. You are so kind, informative and supportive, an asset to MH.

I'm delighted to be back. Sadly my medical condition is worse but at this point it appears to be stable. Sometimes that's all we can hope for.

Yes the members here are awesome. They have gotten many of us through rocky times.

What many members don't get to see is the very terrific, behind the scenes support staff that make MH Communities tick! They are just as awesome.

Thanks again. I look forward to your continued support.

My Best,
Tuck
