Hi Mad,
Welcome. We are sorry to hear that you have undiagnosed pain. I agree with Architex. This could be related to a number of conditions and you should consult with your PCP.
Groin pain can be referred pain....meaning originating in one area but (radiating and) felt in another area. A hip problem is one condition that could cause this as is a low spinal problem. Do you have a even a slight bulging in the area? A hernia (inguinal) can also cause groin pain.
It could also be a groin muscle strain. Groin strain is a tear or rupture to any one of the five adductor muscles located in the area. You can stain your groin without consciously knowing it. Even repetitive overuse of the groin muscles may result in injury or inflammation.
The possibilities are many and only your PCP can offer you a correct diagnosis. I hope you will make an appointment and have your pain diagnosed. Please feel free to share with us what you discover. We all learn from one another. Best of luck to you.
Peace,
~Tuck
I am not a physician and cannot diagnose you, only a doctor that sess you in his office can. But with that said it could be any number of things. Something going on in your lower back. Hip arthritis. Torn hip larum (which I have), or something else in regards to you internal area. Do you have any referred pain in your thigh or knee? The reason I ask is I do and it is from the torn hip labrum that I have. It is also on my left side.
GL to you in your search for the cause of your pain.
