Hand and arm numbness and pain at night

I'm 36 years old and have been frequently (almost nightly) been woken up my hand and arm numbness and pain.  I do have carpal tunnel but this is ridiculous.  I take trazadone so nothing should be waking me up but this does and it's bothersome.  Any suggestions or tips on how to fix or alleviate my pain at night?

hi!, i do experience what you feel...but i was diagnosed of cervical spondylosis and structural condition in my cervical spine...that's why...
Do you experienced it on your right or left hand&arms...?

Position yourself on side lying, opposite to your numbness...for good circulation of blood...it will help. And  avoid things that can make stress on your hand & arms. I'm not a doctor, but with my experience and my doctors' advice, it helps. . .and keep on praying...

Take care and God bless.

My wife has this from time to time. She uses an arm/wrist wrap to help keep her wrist and hand straight during the night. Seems to relieve the pain.

You say you have carpal tunnel, are you seeing the dr for it, are you planning on surgery to fix this?
