Hello

After years of trying to cope with pain of all kinds I recently realized I needed some help and started the process of seeing a pain specialist about my back and leg pain. The next day while getting out of the shower I fell and since then my back is giving me more of a fit. I am not scheduled to go back to doctor for a month and a half and I had and MRI yesterday. Should I call and explain what happened and ask to be seen again?

Nicki, please take the time to breath, regularly, and preferably around 12 times per minute -- the average respiratory rate for an adult human at rest.

In the mean time, if we can offer any helpful opinion, please feel free to post.

Best wishes.

Thanks for you comments and concern. It's appreciated here.

If you read the date on the initial post - Nicki fell a year ago.

Thanks,

Did you fall after the MRI or before but either way you should call the Dr and let them know incase you hurt something else and it requires immediate attention. You could have bruised or hurt yourself internally or worse broke something. if it gets to bad a trip to the  ER may even be required. I am no MD but with all the back problems I have had if I fall i always call my Dr and they have seen me right away and on one occasion I bruised my kidney witch cause a level of pain 9-10. I would never chance a fall that causes increased pain.
