Help me get out of this pain

Hey there!  37 years old male here.

Symptoms: Chronic groin pain on the left side for the last 2 years.   The pain radiates to the left testicle and left leg.   The pain is constant and dull through out.. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Diagnosis: All STDs Negative, No Epididymitis, No Prostatitis.    Urine and Semen culture normal.   Urine Frequency is Normal.    Scrotal ultrasound scanning revealed mild inguinal adenopathy (swelling).    Urologist did physical examination and ruled out inguinal hernia.

To convince me the urologists prescribed medicines like cipro, doxycycline, levofloxacin etc, but they never worked.

I believe the mild inguinal adenopathy is causing all this constant pain for the last 2 years.   Is there a possibility of neoplasm - benign or malignant?

When urologists are unable to treat my pain, who is the right specialist I need to look for?

Please help.. This pain is really killing me.

The white is a fungus, thrush. Use Listerine, but see if the pharmacy has an over the counter liquid anti-fungal.

The vericocele will give left abdominal pain, if it was a left testicle.

I was a CPT, under DoD, with Aegis.

I was there from early 07 till the end of 2010 I worked with the DISA and then with a company named Sallyport Global. I didn't think a parasite, but would like to make sure. The pain radiates in my lower abdominal area and left side. the groin rarely hurts anymore. When I got the ultrasound on my testicle it was only the left one that hurt and that's when they said that there was some slight vericocel. The funny thing is I have either gotten used to the pain or it has migrated to my left side and only my left side. I have also noticed and I am not sure if its related by my tongue has a white/yellowish coating on the back of my tongue it is a thick film that brushes off but comes back.
I get pretty bad heartburn by the gastro said that is not related to the stomach pain. I looked up the symptoms which is the wrong thing to do on the internet because white coating on the tongue always comes back with Stomach or mouth cancer or HIV. I got tested for HIV and came negative and would assume that the cancer would of shown up in the blood. I am really nervous and going broke going to Doctor's

When were you in Iraq, and with who. I was there, 04-07 under DoD.

The parasites weren't much of an issue in Iraq. But, you mentioned the vericocel, that is most likely the source of your problem, and isn't really able to be accurately judged until removed by surgery.

Ed,
Just curious about the third world country visits. I have almost the exact same issues as the above gentleman. It started out of nowhere mostly in the groin. as it got worse I finally went to the emergency room where they did an ultrasound, and CT scan with and without dye. The took blood samples and had nothing but a slight vericole. I followed up with my doctor who did more blood tests, negative. for the last year and a half since I have a slight constant pain in my left abdomen. they did another blood test and another CT and all came back fine, but the pain does not clear.

I ask about third world country because I worked in Iraq for 4 years with the DOD, with frequent travel to Dubai. The issue never presented itself while I was there and did not manifest till over a year after I was home. I like many ex military do not have the greatest of insurance and the level of money I have to pay on all these tests is very worrying, but in the same regard I worry about my health constantly since i am only 34 with a little child I do not want anything serious to happen to me

Inguinal adenopathy is a fancy name for swollen lymph nodes, which the groin has a lot of. Were urine and blood results normal? White count normal? Any blood in the urine. (I don't mean by sight, I mean picked up by the lab tests)

Now here's one that really get's overlooked:
What kind of underwear do you wear? Pants? Do you sit a lot? Ride bikes/motorcycles a lot? Are you a construction worker? Do you frequently have objects pressing against your abdomen or groin?

You can answer in a private profile message, if you want.

I got this pain here in this US.    So no malaria, filaria, etc.    I did live in the North East in the past, was thinking any tick bite causing lyme disease, but the doctors ruled out those as well  :-(

Yes, it's possible that it could be. However, it's still a pretty far stretch. (no pun intended)
It could be that overcompensation is keeping your hips out of alignment and causing inner abdominal muscle strain. (still a reach)
As far as the knee: Quite often knee problems in men are due to uneven muscle development. Men don't usually do the "Suzanne Summers" thigh master type exercises, so their inner thigh is weak, compared to the outer thigh. This causes the outer thigh to pull tighter, and the knee tracks poorly.

I would say; strengthen the inner thigh, strengthen the ITB, and see if that helps any.

What country are you from? Do you travel to any 3rd world countries? Regarding the inguinal adenopathy, could there be a potential for parasites such as Malaria or Philareal, etc?

No specialist is keen on taking my case, and after few visits, all of them make a same statement saying my case is difficult to diagnose which is frustrating me.

The urologists did rule out vericocele and testicular torsion.

I do have knee problem after excessive running during workouts, was diagnosed with runner's knee.   I too have stabbing pain in the feet sometimes.    Can all this be ITBS related?

Has anyone offered alternate exams or diagnosis considerations?
Has anyone looked at things like Vericocele, or testicular torsion, or umbilical compression. Even the overlooked ilio-tibial band could be causing compensation causing a muscle use/spasm deferred pain. (however ITBS is almost always a knee problem)
The point being, why are we stuck with one direction of potential causes?
