I am trying to figure out how soon I can get off Narcotics after knee surgery

I will have ACL graft and medial collateral ligament pinned, miniscus trimmed etc. Have been prescribed percocet and norco.  I need to get off these drugs as quickly as possible. Is there anything I can do to get off them sooner?

You can stop when you feel that your pain is bearable and Tylenol or another over the counter medication will take care of your pain.
If you've been taking pain pills for awhile your Dr will help you with a tapering plan after your surgery. I wish I could give you a time but we're all different so it's hard to say. It has a lot to do with how long you've been taking them too. If it's been awhile them it's going to take some time to taper. If it's been a short time then it should take less time.
I hope your surgery goes well. Keep us up to date on how you're doing.
