Hello and welcome to MH. I agree With Tuckamore. It does sound as if you need a change in your pain management. Like Tuck said, most Doctors are reluctant to order aything stronger than Percocet but it might be an option to move to just plain Oxycodone with and Anti-inflammatory on the side. It might work better than Tylenol and help keep the inflammation down.

Welcome to MedHelp. I am glad you found us. And I am sorry it took me so long to answer your post. I've had some laptop problems.
Your question has an easy answer. Just be honest with you physician and tell him that the Percocet is not working for you. Our systems are different, what works for one may not work for another. You may even do better on Vicodin. It works better for me than Percocet. I do not know the extent of your surgery but usually physicians are reluctant to order anything stronger than Percocet post-op.

whats the dosagfe of pecrs are u on, maybe it isnt enough for the pain ur having call ur dr first thing in the am....good luck
