I'm slipping into depression

Last year I went through so many tests to try to find out what was going on with me. I fired my gynecologist because she wouldn't take me seriously. I went back to my family practice office and started working with a very pleasant Dr. Dr Shin she ordered a complete ultrasound, blood work, a CT scan and everything else no cancer everything came back negative. Still was in excruciating pain.  I started seeing a oncologist that suggested I had a knot inside of me and he wanted to remove some sutures that didn't resolve from my hysterectomy and i had a knot. So after surgery things had gotten better but now it's worst than I remember last year. Dr Shin is no longer there to help me get to the right people. The new Dr didn't even want to prescribe me Vicodin for the pain seeing I have taken everything else and it hasn't helped I don't know why, that's the only thing that has helped me. Now they wanna act like I'm a junkie when they never have prescribed me any before in 40yrs come on now. I had an appt. to see bladder Dr. Oct 30th now they just canceled that have to reschedule after they are back from lunch. I believe it's the bladder mesh I got in 2011 in so much pain feel like a constant stabbing with a hot burning knife!!!! Please help if you know what I should do!!! I have good insurance so I don't understand why I can't get help!!!!!

No it was not hard to get it removed. I went to another gyno-urologist who knew what he was doing. He was the one that discovered it was put in incorrectly and too tight.

It was more of a pulling , tearing, pinching pain. It was also a little uncomfortable during sex. The previous surgeon who put it in put it in too tight and the mesh had already eroded into my muscle tissue. He got all that he could out of the mesh and removed the sling altogether. It was day surgery and I have never felt better in the pelvic area. I mean I still get slight pulling pinching pain, but NOTHING like I did when it was in...

I understand your pain. I had the bladder sling done about 4 yrs ago. After the 3rd year I had it removed due to the pelvic pain.

Pain is all gone now.....

I see you aren't Canadian, however perhaps the same manufacturer of these mesh slings are used in the US....
I will send you a link to lawsuits from women experiencing horrific pain from these.
good luck to you in finding the source of your pain and finding a sympathetic doctor to help:(
