When you don't make it to a pill count you are breaking your contract (and alot of times they assume you're not making it because your pill count is off) Doctors are under alot of pressure to correctly prescribe and monitor patients due to the recent overdoses, over prescribing, prescription addiction plaguing the country. You can get into another pain management and start over. As long as you didnt actually abuse your apin management (sounds like you didn't) there shouldn't be a problem. If you have problems with your primary due to this reason you may need to get a new primary
Hello KY,
It's good to hear from you again - but sorry to hear that you are in the same position. On Feb 29th you posted a similar question due to your inability to make a unscheduled pill count. How did that incident turn out?
Is this the second time you haven't been able to make a pill count - or is this still related to your first question in Feb? I think back than we talked about working something out with your PMP due to your transportation issues. Were you able to do that?
My response will be based on the outcome of your February missed pill count. I'll look forward to your answers.
Regards,
~Tuck
