Hi Kaiden,
I am sorry to hear about your high level of pain. If you have consulted your PCP you should do so today.
The way you explain your pain it does not sound like a kidney issue...did you mean bladder....which is low in your pelvic cavity? Kidney pain is usually located in the flank area...and may radiate around to the side or abd but it normally does not originate in the right abd.
Whatever may be causing your pain you need a diagnosis. Please seek one out. Pain is your body's way of telling you something is wrong. Don't ignore it.
Best of luck to you and please let us know how you are doing.
Peace,
~Tuck
Definitely agree with vicki...any pain that is remarkable in strength and either comes back frequently or remains should tell you to call your doctor.
I'm not sure about kidney pain though, maybe gallbladder since it's in that region. I've had many many kidney stones and infections and hydronephrosis attacks over the last 8 years and only once has the pain felt like it was in my abdomen...almost every other time the pain has been in my back, nestled in the bottom of my ribcage or radiating what feels like between my ribcage and bladder along my back....so I'm not sure about kidneys but I know that the pain CAN feel like it's in your belly, just usually your very lowest part of your belly.
but either way no matter what's causing it, I'd say call your doctor either first thing tomorrow morning, or if the pain becomes excruciating or you see blood in your urine or begin running a fever, feeling faint, or vomiting excessively, I'd go in to Urgent Care or an ER tonight.
best of luck!
Yes. 6.5 is pretty severe. Does the area hurt when you press in and release quickly?
