LIDODERM PATCH

Does anyone have experience with Lidoderm Pain Patches?  I use three per 12 hour period along with oxycodone, tramadol, neurontin and flexeril for pain.  All the talk about Fentanyl has me concerned. BTW I am so thankful for this forum, whether or not one posts one can gain so much valuable information without fear of judgement.  Kudos to sandee for keeping it going and thanx to everyone for straight up honesty in your replies to questions.  For me there is a taking of responsibilty and accountability to protect what we need to live a fulfilling life.  I'll pray for you and ask that you do the same for me.  I am a Baptist MInister and as a part our church covenant we pronounce that we will help to bear one anothers burdens and celebrate each others joys.  This is exactly what this site provides.  No I am not trying to force my religious beliefs on anyone but mentioning the closeness that I feel here but not always at church.  Again, any information on the Lidoderm Patch?  Love Peace and Blessings...Rev

I use the lidocaine patches, they are not narcotic and basically numb the local area. I think they are wonderful, just to relief the general area of pain without having to take a pill. I use it on my lower back where I have nerve damage, changing every 6 to 8 hours.

I know Lidoderm is a Non-Narcotic Medication used as a local anesthetic.  It numbs the area of the pain.  It's usually used for things like shingles.

I wouldn't think of it as dangerous, I think it's pretty safe.

I do know dentists use it for dental procedures as well, pulling teeth and such!

Have a good,
Josh
