Thanks to all of you! You know sometimes with illness it puts a strain on relationships .I have to say my husband has been so good , so understanding since I have been sick. But I think that sometimes we put our relationships on auto-pilot.I believe that's what happened with us .But ,as soon as I shared what was bothering me to my husband he has made every effort in the world to make things right .This trip and celebrating 25 yrs together revitalized our partnership. We actually had a renewal ceremony in our room .We shared vows we both had written just the 2 of us there in the room .We reaffirmed the vows we had taken 25 yrs ago.It was the most touching and special moment . I will never forget it and what it meant to me. I look forward to being with him for whatever time God grants me here . Hey mummy3too this man usually hates to stop on any trip .I was shocked that he wanted to stop everywhere .We found some amazing bargains and really nice stuff. He probably will never do it again but it was so much fun .Our car was loaded down before we ever got to Nashville .Oh it was the trip of a lifetime all of it was incredible .Take care everyone Melissa
Melissa,
When I celebrate my 25th anniversary.... can I borrow your husband .... to go antique shopping??? I am sure my hubby won't mind - he hates shopping!
Antiques are just 'used' things to him...lol
WOW - what a great trip you had!!! I am jealous in a good way!
Congratulations for 25 years !!!
Happy Anniversary! I'm so happy to hear of your wonderful time!
Melissa,
I am, so very happy for you. Our spouse should be our best friend, our soul mate in every sense of the word.
It sounds like you had an absolutely forever memorable trip. You have brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart. Marriages are like a garden. They needs lots of nurturing and tending to blossom and grow.
I'm wishing that your reconnection will continue through the next 25 plus years.
Blessings,
~Tuck

Congrats on 25 years! May you have many, many more! Also congrats on a pain controlled vacay. We all need those once in a while! :)
Melissa,
I am sitting here in tears so happy for you. I am so glad you guys got a great trip and the best part is you guys got to talk and he knows how you feel now. I am so glad your pain was under control also so you could enjoy every second of it. I can tell this trip took alot off your shoulders and that is GREAT!! This is a time that you will remember for the rest of your life no matter what.
I know with me and my husband we dont talk about my pain that much. So everything is pushed under the door.
I am sooooo happy for you.
Happy Anniversary
