My thumb is thumb is swollen, with two cloudy spots and hurts really bad

.I was watching my bathtube with very warm water and suddenly one side of my right thumb started to feel like with a slight burning/tingling sensation. I thougt that something bite me at that moment. I stoped cleaning up. I started to feel worried about it because my thumb started to feel swollen and with a lot of pain and not only my thumb but my arm too. Is been two weeks and it is not so swollen anymore but it still hurts and also my arm. Does someone had this sympthoms? Can someone please give me an idea of what this could be?
