You seem to have the same problem as I do too. This isn't an explanation of why your throat has abnormal pain; rather I am here to prove that there is a another person in the word who can relate to you; regardless of whether I know you or not. Best wishes getting your issue fixed!
Help! Only the right portion of my throat hurts. It is painful when I swallow and water only goes to my right side. I feel a metallic taste at the back of my throat. This pain and soreness is always on the right side of my throat, regardless of it being strep throat or a normal cold, or a flu. Is this normal to everybody? I am getting increasingly worried because my medical records clearly show that I repeatedly say pain is in the right side of my throat. The doctors that have treated me have not done anything about the common complaints of right side throat pain. I have looked on more than a dozen websites; all of them providing absolutely no closure or explanation of this occurance. Do you know what I could do or help write and explanation about this thing? Thanks!

Hi BernardCota,
Yes it could be an ear infection, I think you should have a doctor look at it. Usually, they will give you an antibiotic and antihistamine to drain the fluid that builds up. Do you have a fever or pus in your throat? It could be other things but it is better to check it out.
