Thanks for the feed back. I am from Missouri. What happened is I switched to a different doctor a couple weeks ago. The nurse I have now is great, but I havn't seen the actual DR yet. She treats me and writes my prescriptions, etc. I broke down in her office yesterday crying. She gave me a big hug.  She told me to start taking dilauid every 4 hours for pain as needed.( I still have some from when I stopped taking them  3 months ago. ) I am going to, but I will bet my life it will not work. Been there, done that. In fact all day today I have had nothing but pain. I have confined myself to bed. Would a different class of pain medicine maybe help me??  When I had a migrane a couple weeks ago, he sent me to the ER because my imitrex wasn't working. At that time the ER actually did give me a shot of 2 mg diliuid and it didn't help or even touch my headache. They gave me something else awhile later(non narcotic and not sure what) and it helped). My body is just high tolerant to pain medicine I guess. So My chart can't say nothing to bad. I had to go back to ER for this pain I am having now, and that's when they wouldn't help me. It was a different Dr. He treated me like dirt.  It has been about 3 years since I have had to go to the ER until now.  GEE. I will not go back there, I can tell ya that. I will go to St. Louis
Thank you about the advice on getting a copy of medical records. I am going to do that. Can I get my records from the ER and my doctor?
My doctor sent me to a surgeon today wanting him to do a CT and lapercopic. When I went in his office he asked me.."What am I suppose to do about this?"  I am starting to fear it is partly due to the fact that medicare is broke. No doctor will help me. He said he was going to do a CT. , but there was no need for anything else. How the heck does he know? Can he see in the future? I called a bit ago though and they haven't even set it up yet. I just wish they would admit me in the hospital until they find out what is wrong. This pain is horrific. Does anyone know of any home remeidies or anything to ease pain? I feel like I am screaming out loud for help and noone can hears me. I'm so afraid the truth is that they don't want to hear me. Something is wrong or I wouldn't be having such pains.
I guess if this surgeon doesnt want to help me, I will find one that will. I am lossing the battle of my own body. I'm weak, in pain, and tired.

Its my second full day in the hospital and no luck on what is wrong with me. I am going to be seeing 2 other drs. today and get their take on the situation. I have one doc saying endomitrosis, one thinks it is pain caused from my hip replacement 3 years ago, ( the pain is in my lower right abdomenal area) Another Dr. thinks that it might be built up scar tissue. One even mentioned my bladder. Can't they just do a laperscopic surgery to see if they can see anything, before just guessing at it? It seems to me, that would be the first thing to do. I am comfortable mostly now. On 2mg diliuid every 2 hours or longer , depending on as needed. Thanks for the support in here! Believe it or not I am pretty educated when it come to pain and medicines, and other health problems. My ex is a well known Doctor and I learned a lot from  him. If anyone has questions, I would also be happy to try to help you to. Blessings to all. Have a great day.

Yes, I am hopeful they will find something. They did another CT yesterday and I am waiting ti see another OBGYN Dr. Also, a doc. came in yesterday, pushing on me so hard, I was in pain all night. I feel better this morn. Just pain, but not severe. It is finally under control. They are giving me 2mg diliaud every 2 to 4 hours as needed. That you for your support! If you need anything, I always have a ear open and would be happy to help with anything I can, or if you just need to vent., just write me.

I feel like a guinine pig in this hospital. Everyone is so nice, but each doctor that comes in has a different idea of what is causing my pain. I have been run through the mill with test. They gave me Toradol?(not sure how 2 spell it) and they had to stop because my mouth swelled up. I am waiting for the nurse to come in to give me my meds. Maybe they will find out something tomorrow.

Well everyone, I am in the hospital as I type! I am hurting so bad, but they are treating me very well. I am waiting to see the doctor. I have not seen or heard anything from him, Man, that makes me sooooo mad. Anyway, they have me on dilauid1mg through an IV every 2 hours. The doc. will help me more if he ever gets here. I hope they find out what is wrong with me. the CT came back okay to. So I feel at a lost. Thank all of you for writing and being supportive. It is nice to know that even though you guys are strangers, you do keep my spirits up at times.

I will be praying for you. Please try to get across to your doctor that he needs to help you. Something needs to be done to get you some relief.

I hope you do find the help you need ,to get the test done needed.
Please be aware that there are limitations on what you can get as far as your medical records. Records sent to your doctor from another doctor can not be released except by that doctor. Doctors notes are something else also. Some will include them and some consider those part of the doctors property and will not be released to you.
Every state and doctor is different. I had some difficulty when getting mine and had to get an attorney. They can hold your records hostage for any unpaid balance also. It is not legal but they do do this in some offices.
Make sure you tell each doctor what the other one is giving you as far as medications.

I have been on all of the meds that you mention above except oxycontin. I have had partial hip replacement, well, that kinda went bad. Surgery fixed the bone, but I recieved nerve damage as a result. I also have fibromyalgia. I have 3 bulging disc in my lower back and I have OA. But the pain I have right now is new to me. I left my old doctor a couple weeks ago for a new doctor, but last night I was thinking... I can't get no help. The surgion is going to do a CT, but I am not even sure when yet, still I am here suffering. I never canceled my appointment for my old doctor yet, and I am going to go to it today. I am going to tell him why I went to another Dr. ( because I never could get in to see him, ever) and hopefully he will help me. If I could just get admitted in the hospital ,I know test will get done quicker. And I can have help with my pain. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. When I was on the Fentonal Patch, I was on 75mg. and it had no effect, so he took me off to try something else, but didnt wheen me off. I had 6 seizures and was in hospital 8 days. Horrible. I was taking methodone 2x day and dulauid 2x day and it got to the point it wasnt helping. So now I am off of them both. As I type, I am suffering with this mystery pain. Maybe I will make progress today.

I'm sorry, I am new to hearing your story. Why are you on such a pain medication for managing day to day pain? What is your issues with pain? If they are sever enough there are other options for pain like oxycontin, or Fetanyl pain patches.  There are also medications to take to keep migraines under control like Topramax. Taken daily it can minimize migraines. I would suffer with 2 a month and end up in the ER. Immitrex did nothing for me.  
As for medicare, they pay the bills and should be not problem paying yours..  

Where is your pain? Have you had an MRI or CT scan?
The right doctors will help you it just sounds like you found so bad ones. Don't give up.
