I agee with Tuck - be careful of taking so much acetaminophen. My pain doctor will not let me take more than 4 a day of the 10/325 Norcos. When that amount doesn't help any more I start cutting back by cutting the tabs in half and spreading it out. I try to get down to 2 a day - of course the pain level goes up for a while, but then when I start back increasing it to 4 a day it works better. Your body builds a tolerance and you have to reset things - at least my take on it all. Also, adding a liquid gel Advil seems to help me. My doctor has approved my doing that as long as I don't take too much Advil. Good luck.
The maximum is usually more dependant on the amount of acetaminophen (tylenol) in the norco and your physician's prescription. Norco comes in different strengths of hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Your "tag" says Norco 10/325. My physician allows 1-2 every 4 to 6 hours but again it depends on the physicians order.
I hope this is helpful. If you have questions give your prescribing physician a call.
Good luck and take care,
Tuck
