PAIN ALL OVER BODY
Hi, Im Kevin. I am 14 , and over the past three/four days I have been having pain all over myself. I have extreme pain in my upperback. I am having pain on the back side of my thighs, and I am having trouble breathing occasionally. Does anyone know whats going on? Someone told me Lyme, mono, or Fibromialaga or something like that?
Hi Kevin...I'm sure there are many things that could be wrong, and the best thing to do would be to see the doctor. The breathing is of real concern...especially with the amount of pain you are in. Please ask to go to the doctor...I hate to think of you in pain, and you need to get some relief soon! You need to figure out what is wrong...it surely does not sound like the things you posted....do you have any other symptoms at all? Bottom line...you need to go to the doctor! I hope you do!

Kevin just read your post, and your like 14 man. Nobody needs to know you have to see a doc or that you did or absolutely have to. You understand one thing here ok,
that's we don't know you, and most of us or none of us in this forum that is in the pain management forum are doctors got this? I wonder how you found this org>, and wonder if you are close to you to your parents?, or perhaps is it possible you don't
feel like you can or want t tak to your parents, As for me my father was not the one with the bandade or the one who annoyed me constanty about getting sick if I went out and may I say at your age too LOL ;) overbearing irish mother I had, and my dad was my God! but Kevin I could not talk to my parents about all the drugs I was doing, or had to both knew but still never had the alcohol or drug conversations. I'd have to skip school alot on Mondays from partying and my parents neither lectured me or punished me. My mom would clean up my throw up all over my room or he bathroom in those days, and if I had a headache or sick ( my mom would get me into the family Dr. dr. Harvey his name was it's al cming back to me thanks ). If I was feeling like you
my mother just knew 'the mom syndrome' again she knew who I was and drinking alot
and doing cocaine, heroin, and aota things neither of my parents knew for sure except my father but he left me alone.
If you don't get along with your parents you may feel scared to ask for help. Alot of kids your age if scared that their parents will react*** Kevin will never have reacted that part is all in our heads**. If you get along with your parents or even if you don't then tell them, and one of them should get you to the ER asap. Now if your parents are users they may not get involved for alot of reasons... I am guessing right along with myself here and having a bad 7 days myself about to check into to the ER myself because Kevin my folks died in a car crash in the early 80s. I raised myself pretty much. PLEASE GO TO THE ER, AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE MONEY.
IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE THROUGH YOUR PARENTS GREAT MAZAL. MEANING GOOD LUCK OR BLESSINGS. I'M TRYING TO COVER ALL BASES FOR YOU SO YOU DON'T WORRY AND GET YOURSELF SOME HELP.
LIKE ME . I'M ALONE AND HAVE FRIENDS BUT NO FAMILY TO CARE ABOUT ME
AND I DON'T FEEL GOOD TWO NIGHTS AGO OVERDOSED TOOK TO MANY MEDS TESTING OUT WHETHER IT WOULD HELP ME GOING UP A DOSE OR NOT THIS IS ( PAIN MANAGEMENT FORUM TO DISCUSS PAIN MANAGEMENT AND ALL THAT IS RELATED TO THIS TOPIC).
I ALSO HAVE A SERIOUS INJURY OR MAYBE A TEAR OR A JOINT GONE AGAIN IN MY LEFT SHOULDER ( I CAN'T MOVE MY LEFT ARM SO I UPPED MY MEDS).
NOW I HAVE TO GO TO THE ER BECAUSE IF I TAKE ALL MY MEDS THEN ALOT OF PEOPLE WILL BELIEVE I DID TO GET MORE WHICH IS NOT MY PROBLEM.
SO RATHER THAN THINK I HAVE TO (ACT) I'M ALL I HAVE RIGHT ABOUT NOW.
I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH KIDS OUTSIDE MY TEACHINGS, AND CARE SO
MUCH ABOUT THE KIDS YOUR AGE YOUNGER AND OLDER UNDER 21 WHO HAVE IT HARD AT HOME. EITHER WAY YOU'RE NOT FEELING GOOD AND THE SYMPTOMS YOU ARE HAVING KEVIN COULD BE SERIOUS HOPE BY NOW YOU'VE ALREADY GONE AND IF NOT PLEASE GO AND NEXT TIME DON'T WAIT. YOU CAN ALWAYS ASK A FRIENDS MOM TO TAKE YOU AS LONG AS YOU HAVE AN ADULT WITH YOU , AND DONT' LIE ABOUT YOUR AGE IF YOU LOOK OLDER AND THINK THAT WILL WORK OUT AS WELL IT'S NOT GOOD LEGALLY TO DO AND NOT GOOD IN GENERAL IF YOU LIKE THE HOSPITAL TO START.

Now that you have that one with all do respect Kevin, and with GREAT CONCERN I say to you go to the ER immediately alot of hospitals have fast track where you're in and out.

You need blood testing, urine, xrays, maybe alot of testing, and if you know you or your folks do no have insurance by law they still have to treat you. In order to get the best care you can have! for the time they have you there and you don't know who has the insurance most kids don't know the insurance carrier so just tell them your folks will mail it in. If any doctor, nurse, or REGISTRATION TECH who treats you in
a unfair or rude manner while you are sick tell them to bill you or have you sign off
that you or our folks will send in the insurance info asap they will give those who do
not have their insurance cards with then at the time of the ER visit a paper that says you'll fax in the card and information asap after you've been let go out of the hospital.
And hopefully after they've helped you figure out what is wrong or kept you in order to run all the testing you need Kevin, and don't worry about what they'll find, and it's probably a better idea to keep any personal business to yourself. You have a right
by law to keep your personal affairs or family business to yourself just be respectful
as you can while you are in this sort of pain, and worry. Being anxious can also cause pain this is hard for me to do for sure but you can do it ! The hospital setting
can make us all so anxious, and anxiety can cause us to come short of breathing which is called anxiety attacks. Not saying you are having an anxiety attack or panic attack. I get them for real, and take valium and inderal and I suffer from migraines, and fel upon this group to help****** me when I want to talk or like you get another opinion. wow2 am wiped now have to take all my meds
You need a urine and don't worry about what you may or may not have taken in the last five to ten days nobody cares. All ER docs smoke pot themselves and alot of docs take pain meds and still perform their duties oh yes they do in teh ER on us.
Nobody is supposed to judge us in the ER but help us find out what's wrong ok. So
if IF YOU FEEL THAT BAD DON'T TELL THEM YOU FEEL BETTER Kevin if **you don't/;) If you don't have anyone at home to help you maybe a cool friends mom or dad or anybody you trust who is 21 you can appeal to for help.

Take it easy have faith, and get some rest. Sounds corny, and nope u may not want
to share this but taking atleast one hot bath will help with pain so take two if you
can it will help you alot of people swear by this pain. Talk to you soon, keep your head up, and do it right.......Sara
