Pain in left arm and finger numbness

Hey, I'm hannah and I'm 17(:
Every so often my left arm gets this strange pain in it, Almost like a pinching feeling. It starts right under my armpit and feels like it goes all the way down to my wrist. Then my fingers start tingling and going numb soon my whole hand is numb. It happens for about a few hours then goes away slowly. Any ideas on what it is? Thank youuu(:

A friend of mine had those symptoms. In her case it was caused by a bra strap cutting into her shoulder. I get funny pains in an arm from gas. As you are very young it is unlikely that it is anything serious, but if the pain continues, see your doctor.

Hi there,

Unfortunately...no one can diagnose you online...

Have you talked to your parents about this?

Are you doing anything at the moment this happens or within an hour or so beforehand? Like lying on your side doing homework...or talking on the phone so holding that arm up a lot...

I would speak with your parents and just let them know...they may think it's worth going to your GP...

Good luck:)
