Pain in lower right side

I had an ovarian cysts rupture about 3 weeks ago and the pain is still here.  It seems to be getting stronger again.  I was wondering if it is common for the pain to still be here and if this is a serious condition.  I have been unable to to sit down for long periods of time or stand up for long periods of time because the pain gets stronger then.  I never went to the doctor for a followup after the rupture.  Please let me know if this is normal or not and if it is a serious condition.  I am afraid that this might have limited my chances to conceive. My name is Denise and I am 21 years old.

Yep, you need to make that followup appointment, and tell them what's been going on so you can get in ASAP.  Usually once a cyst ruptures, the pain goes away within a day or so.  You might have had more than one cyst going, or it could be something unrelated like your appendix.  Either way, get yourself to the doc!  :-)
