Pain in lower right side

I had an ovarian cysts rupture about 3 weeks ago and the pain is still here.  It seems to be getting stronger again.  I was wondering if it is common for the pain to still be here and if this is a serious condition.  I have been unable to to sit down for long periods of time or stand up for long periods of time because the pain gets stronger then.  I never went to the doctor for a followup after the rupture.  Please let me know if this is normal or not and if it is a serious condition.  I am afraid that this might have limited my chances to conceive. Yep, you need to make that followup appointment, and tell them what's been going on so you can get in ASAP.  Usually once a cyst ruptures, the pain goes away within a day or so.  You might have had more than one cyst going, or it could be something unrelated like your appendix.  Either way, get yourself to the doc!  :-)
