Pain in side when coughing/sneezing

About a week and a half ago I started getting a pain in my lower right side when I coughed or sneezed. I figured I had pulled or tore a muscle because the pain started the day after I had done some strenuous activity.

However, it doesn't seem to be going away and the pain seems to be more constant now.

There's no pain when I press on the area that hurts, only if I sneeze, cough, or anything that requires using the muscles in my side. It's not a hernia either, as far as I can tell.

Any ideas what it might be?
