Thanks for the advise.

Me and my mom having the same problem, its really painful and with this I usually become unconscious. It
happen in months, some times after three month or some times after 6 months.

I am 28 years old.

Things were going fine. I didn't feel anything from last many months. But last night I had egg milk after my gym. But could not sleep well. And today morning when I came to work and enter to my cabin, all of the sudden pain started again. This time it happend after 4 to 5 months. Everytime it stays for approximate 15 to 20 mins.

To reduce this pain I use to keep some thing hard (solid) under my backbone end. It gives me lil reliefe.

Can you please tell me the cause and the solution.

My doctor also advise me to take vitamin tablets.
If its about taking vitamins, kindly note that I am taking good vitamins since last 1 year I joined the gym.

Kindly advise.

Thanks in advance.

Hello FIA,

Welcome. There are not any physicians on our forum. Some of us have medical backgrounds but none of us are experts. So please understand that your question is not being answered by a medical expert.

What is the cause of the pain in your tailbone? Is it due to degeneration...arthritis...did you injure it? In part, treatments will depend on the cause of your pain.

Have you tried sitting on what is called a donut? It is a thick foam circle with a hole in the center...hence the name, donut. It picks your tailbone (coccyx) up and takes some of the pressure off the area when you are sitting. It has been effective for some ppl.

I would think that Vitamin supplements will help also but remember it takes time for them to build up in your system and be effective.

Please let us know how you are doing. I'll look forward to hearing from you again.

Take Care,
~Tuck
