Please help me with my pain!!

Dear any one who reads this, I beg you to help me.

First of all I had terrible pain last year and finally got taken to the walk in centre by my boyfriend were I got told I had one of four different things; an ovarian cyst, appendicitis, a urine infection or gall stones, so I then got told to go to A&E. I then got diagnosed with ovarian cysts, and had a laparoscopy they then found out I had Endometrosis and I have now been suffering with that since November at the moment it is unreal with how much pain I am in, I am on a lot of pain killers and a couple of things that is meant to help.

If any one could help me feel a bit better I would be so grateful.

Kind Regards

Emma-Jane

I have used muscle rub (which does help, believe it or not), I've used a heating pad (even though it's not recommended, heat is known to soften the cyst, which could lead to the cyst rupturing). As to pain related to Endometriosis, you may need a prescribed anti-inflammatory pain killer. Did your doctor have a CA-125 blood test done on you? Not all doctors do it, but it seems to be a necessary precaution. Hopefully you can see a doctor who will help you understand all your treatment options, because there are options. If you're in that much pain, you must have a massive amount of lining build up and may need a D&C. Start keeping a pain journal. Write down when you feel it, for how long, what you did to relieve it and if it worked or didn't work. When you do this, you can help your doctor understand your symptoms and what causes them. The doctor can also help you begin a pain management regimen based upon your notes. Avoid caffeine (believe me when I tell you that it worsens the pain). Reduce your intake of sugar and salt, drink a lot of water, get plenty of rest, and try to reduce your stress levels as much as possible.
