Popping Elbow

I have had this popping in my right elbow on the outside.  It is now getting worse and hurting.  I am limited on the lifting and moving I do with it.  The popping is getting louder and more painful.  I have had cortozone shots sorry if spelled wrong they do not work.  Can anyone tell me how I can get this to go away?  I feel like my doctor is afraid to actually do more.  I just had surgery on the inside of the same elbow to move a nerve.

It probably isn't going to "go away."  If you recently had surgery, are you doing any physical therapy for it yet?  Is it planned as part of your rehab?  Yeah, it's going to hurt like hades, but you might bring it up with your doc.  Have you thought about getting a second opinion?  Never hurts to have another set of eyeballs check your case.

I am through with the therapy.  It was at home therapy and the doc said the surgery went well.  The popping is in a totally different place on the other side of the elbow.  I have an appointment with him on Friday and hoping I will get some answers.  I'll let you know what he says then. Thank you for your comments.
