Hello Jody,

Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am glad that you found us and took the time to post your question.

I apologize for any misunderstandings. As Sherry indicated there are no nurses on this forum that represent MedHelp. Yes some of us members are nurses but no one is authorized by MedHelp to function in a "professional" capacity on this forum....and responses should not be viewed as anything more then from one member to another offering suggestions.

That said MedHelp does have an Expert Forum titled, "Ask a Nurse." The nurse on that forum that is responding to questions is authorized by MedHelp to function is a professional capacity. Here is the link:
http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Ask-a-Nurse/show/703

I encourage you to contact your pharmacist or post your question on the above link. I hope you are able to find the correct conversion. Specific medication questions, especially regarding doses or conversations are very important and should always be answered by your medical professional.

Best of luck to you,
~Tuck

Hi Jody,

First I want to welcome you to the Pain Management Forum and let you know that we are glad you found this Forum. I want to let you know that there are NO Doctors on this Forum only CP - Chronic Pain - Patients that help each other with our OWN expertise and experiences that we have developed through our OWN CP Issues.

Like I stated above there are NO Doctors on this website.  We ALSO have NO RN's that work for MedHelp.  While we do have some that are members they DO NOT work for MH.

Your best bet is to call your Pharmacist and ask them this question.  They are knowledgeable on this as well as a multitude of other things concerning medication. :)

I wish you the best..............Sherry
