Right side pain won't stay away!

Actually started about 3 years ago - cause then was determined to be pancreatitus, however - after being treated for that, it still hurts just as bad between 2 and 3 days a week.  But every time anyone checks enzyme levels of the pancreas, or dose a CAT scan, X-ray of the area, whatever - everything looks fine, absolutely nothing found that should cause any pain, but yet it is there - and sever.  But what to even look at now.....

Hi,
I have issues like you with severe pain under rt and lft side of rib cage..long story short..have u ever fallen resulting in rib pain, back pain that might have happened years go?
I will relate that I have neuropathy pain and other conditions related to autoimmune problems and take pain meds..however.....
I was in to see gastroenterologist a few years ago because nothing showed up *** a problem ie gi, pancreas,gallbladder..
Had severe pain on left side..sometimes continuous for a few days then episodic requiring pain pill..strong one or two..
I was in to see spinal anaesthsiologist for recheck on nerves in lower back he had ablated(cut, ablated, etc.) because I have facet joint arthritis in lower back...and the left side pain hit and he used lidocaine injection to back lumbar  1 nerve and pain went away...
Doctor researched a back injury I had from a bad fall resulting in damage to many ribs, vertebrae...20yrs ago.....
I had not nor had doctor thought of nerve damage in that area but I had fallen back on edges of stairs..
My spine anaesthsiologist had given me cortisone shots to the arthritis in lower back that showed up on mri's but not much stood out as damage to other back areas...
Spine dr helped the pain..
it has been gone a year but nerves do grow back and am having ultrasound tomorrow to hopefully verify nothing wrong with pancreas or gallbladder, etc..as pain is back ..meaning that my nerve damage might be problem ...
Blessed u are if u do not have to take pan meds to get relief but can research what I have said and hopefully get relief...

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
Even though you have undergone numerous tests, three possibilities come to my mind; chronic involvement of appendix (many a times ultrasound misses this as the appendix in such cases is hidden behind loops of intestine and typical symptoms of appendicitis are  absent), involvement of kidney as in infection and stone and inflammation of your intestine. Other possibilities could be cholecystitis (inflammation of gall bladder), stones in gall bladder, abscess under the diaphragm (often missed by ultrasounds), liver problems or due to duodenal ulcer. If pain is slightly on the lower side then inflammatory bowel conditions, colitis etc should be ruled out. It can also be food intolerance, so log in what you eat and symptoms as they come and see if there is a correlation. If you had any surgery in past, then it can even be adhesions. Please discuss with your doctor. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
