Hi,I ache all over during the day and at night my legs hurt so bad I can't sleep much. Then in the mornings I have a headache"I do have migrains but not everyday thank God" and my back esp. lower back hurts. When I was younger I broke 2 virtbras"sorry I know I spelled that wrong" in my back. Not at the same time but about 18 yrs apart the last time was like 10 years ago. I've managed to increase my flexiaility in ways I wasn't suppose to be able to through yoga workingout, being to stubborn to give up and faith ,but nothing helps out the pain. I'ed just like to sleep atleast 3 hrs before I wake up and not go thru hrs. of having to stretching my legs and moving my legs everynight;before I finally go to sleep. If anyone has this problem and can offer advice I'ed appreciate it. Thank you.
I am glad that you found us at the MedHelp Pain Mangement Forum, Welcome. I a sorry that you have such wide spread pain. It sounds like you have done some positive things in an attempt to reduce your pain and symptoms.
The most obvious questions are have you sought a diagnosis? Are you seeing a PMP? Have you had a recent MRI of your spine? In my opinion that would be a good place to begin for answers and hopefully a solution.
Some thoughts that come to mind is RLS, Degenerative Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, DDD (Degenerative Disc Disease), Vitamin and/or Mineral Deficiencies or Myofascial Pain Syndrome or some combination them. This is just my personal opinion. I am far from an expert. I just too suffer with Chronic Pain and until treated had many sleepless nights.
Are you prescribed any medication for pain or sleep? I am hopeful that your PCP will help controlControl Control rx your pain with medications until a DX (diagnosis) is found and you can be properly treated. If you have seen your PCP and he or she is unable to find a DX or unwilling to manage your pain it may be time to seek out another PCP or a PMP.
I hope you will let us know how you are doing. We will look forward to your updates and more information on what you have done thus far to find some solutions to your painfulPainful menstrual periods condition. I wish you the very best.
Hi TuckTucks hc, Thanks for your help. Yes about 12 yrs. ago I told that I may have Chronic Fatique and a few years ago I was told Fybromyalgia by another Dr. I'm not sure what the difference is or if there is one. No I'm not on any pain meds. I refuse to take anything stronger than Tylenol Arthritis Strength. That may seem like a stupid thing to do, but I've seen more than a few people get addicted to pain meds. and the hell they go through. I'm not trying to exchange one form of Hell for another. So I'm looking for the best most natural way to deal with this whatever it maybe. I had some test done recently and everything came back normal"they were looking for Addisons or Cushings disease".I'm going to write down the ones you said, and take them to my appt. next week. Sorry it took me 3 days to get back to you. I didn't know anyone had replied until I just decided to check. If you don't mind me asking what's SIJ Dysfunction...Most likely something I know of by another name and I;m going to feel really dumb.... I hope you're not in too much pain all the time...Anyways Thanks again...Anna
You are welcome. SIJ is short for Sacroiliac Joint.
We all have to do what's best for us. You have chose what you feel is best for you. I will add that many ppl take opiates for chronic pain and do not become addicted, dependant yes, but not addicted. There is a big difference between the two.
Best of luck. I will look forward to your updates.

A good nights sleep cannot never be overrated. When I sleep well my pain is reduced and I just feel better all over as most CP sufferers can attest, it helps. I have horrid pain in my right leg most nights. But I also have pain in the leg daily. I have SIJ dysfunction and your symptoms do not sound like mine.
