Stiff neck, tense shoulders, upper back pain. Help!?

How do I deal with these three things? They've been causing me so much pain and excruciating headaches. I've been diagnosed by doctors and hospital doctors as having tension headaches, yet they never give me help or information. And as a sixth former I can't afford to keep having to miss lessons due to going home with headache.

I've tried getting friends and family to massage me but the pain is unbearable and I always tense up again. Also, my upper back tingles sometimes. What could it be? If it helps, I'm 16 years old.

Yes. I've tried ice in a bag, wrapped up in a teatowel, and Deep Heat cream but nothing.
