Thanks everyone for actually listening and not judging like people that aren't going through this.

It is so nice to chat with people that have an understanding of how this feels, going through pain, dealing with Doc's, If anybody is in arizona going through pain with bulging discs or just pain in general I would love to chat.  Thanks again for having a forum for us.

I believe a bulging disc is diagnosed by an MRI.  They are very painful.  My husband was treated with prednisone and was told to rest.  That worked a couple times until finally the disc ruptured.  Depending on where they are sitting can be very painful and the sciatic nerve can become inflammed.

I loved the title of this post "Thanks everyone for actually listening and not judging like people that aren't going through this."
All to many times whether you know what is causing the pain or do not.  People seem to think that you just like to take pills or pain med.  Ironically most of us HATE taking pain pills but if they have to take them people that don't understand why just seem to brush them off or head the post toward the addition forum.  What a shame for someone in pain to be in and made to feel like an addict too.

That's what is nice on this forum people really do understand what it is like to live in pain.  Fortunately for me my pain is only usually in the winter months.  Unfortunately that is ~4-5 months every year.  Don't sound like much until you deal with it.  I can't wait for summer.  A day without a zanaflex is a happy day any more. COME ON SUMMER!  Chat with me anytime.  That's what were here for.  ;-)

I appericate your response and would love to chat cause again, others outside of this just think your making it up or that the pain can be handle with home remedies.  When did you start going through your chroic pain?  Mine started at 25 and now I am 28 and still trying to get it fixed or at least in a comfortable spot.

And I second scaredmom's offer. If you need to chat you may send me a PM any time. I am not in AZ. Goodness I'm freezing to death in the frozen tundra know as Wisconsin.

We do understand where you are coming from. We are in different stages of our journey in this condition called chronic pain. Some members are just newly diagnosed or trying to get some one to beleive them, some members have been there for 20 years or more. When I first found MedHelp I was elated that there were others that knew what I was experiencing, others that understood what I was trying to say and what I was feeling. I haven't left since the first day I stumbled across this site.

I hope you will stay with us. Take Care, Tuck
