Thigh Pain

I have trouble sleeping due to pain in my outer thigh. It seems like it started in the hip but now has localized to thigh area. My doctor doesn't seem too concerned but the only drug that helps in naproxin, which of course is hard on the stomach. Any suggestions as to cause or cure?

I am sorry but I have no suggestions for you because I too am in pain. I have constent back pain and I have been on meds for along time. My dr doesnt understand why my back hurts all the time after a fall and broke rids because I have no insurance and cannnot pay for any tiesting. What do people do?

I sometimes have thigh pain that radiates from my back and hip. Are you sure it isn't starting somewhere else?
