I am new here and I have a question....Not sure if anyone is knowledgeable about this, but here goes. I have been on tramadol for the last approximately 7 months. Not a huge dose, but one 50mg tab every 6 hours. This is around the clock, not as needed. It did not help at first, but after about a month or two, it began to help tremendously.
About a month ago, my doctor wanted me to try to start Cymbalta. I DO NOT want to take this medication. I have talked to a few people who have taken this drug and have gotten some nasty side effects from it. And now, my doctor is refusing to refill my tramadol prescription. I don't understand?
The tramadol was working for me wonderfully. I just feel like, if it ain't broke, why try to fix it. Is there a problem taking tramadol long-term? Sorry this is so long, I am just looking for some feedback or insight.
