Pain Managment is a place where they teach you how to "handle" your pain..what your limits are ect,ect,...They may put a layout for you such as an excersise regiment, physical therapy and alternative ways of coping with your pain. A pain clinic however..is a bit different..they really back away from prescribing pain meds...instead they sometimes use cortisone shots for the pain which can last several months. Good luck with the pain management! But if you're looking for pain relief pain management isn't the place to be. I am telling you this because of my experiences I have had in the past for my own chronic pain. Let me know how you make out!
Take care,
beatlette
