Thank's Tuck,

I totally forgot that info. Yes, the Doctor did say not to take them at the same time,
Rather to alternate between the two.  :-)

Hi Stirlsa,

Welcome to the Pain Management Forum of MedHelp. Mollyrae is correct you may take both but you should not take them at the same time. You should also not continue the practice for long periods. You can take acetaminophen and two hours later take the aspirin and so on. But this can be very hard on your gastrointestinal tract so make sure you are not taking these on an empty stomach, especially the aspirin. And do not exceed the recommend daily limits of either.

I also recommend that you consult with your PCP regarding this regime. These drugs should not be taken together for more than a few days. That is a lot of NSAID to put in your system.

Please keep us posted. Good luck to you and take care.

Hello and welcome to MH. Yes, in small amounts. I have used both when needed via Doctors suggestion.

Take care,
Mollyrae
