I am sorry that I do not know a lot about this condition. According to what I have been able to research much depends on the location, cause and extend of the necrosis. Bone can rebuild itself in most circumstances. It's when it's left untreated or undiagnosed that the prognosis is poor.
Is the bone unable to rebuild itself? Is the caused from steroid usage? You do not provide any information. Please feel free to update us and let us know how you are doing. I will look forward to hearing from you.
