I have a bad disc in my neck and stopped taking my pain meds two months before I had a tubal reversal. I do ok but every once in a while I have very bad pain. Like today! I know I can not take nsaids so does anyone know anything strong enough that is ok to take when ttc? Tylenol does not help cuase of the inflamation (inflammation). I use heat, and ice and take fish oil for inflamation (inflammation) but I am really in bad shape today:(If anyone could help I'd love ya forever

30something - I really think you need to contact your doctor.  I'm not sure what your pain regimen is but it sounds like you're going to need something a little stronger than Tylenol.  I personally have never heard that you couldn't take Ibuprofin while ttc - I have chronic pain (also in my upper neck/head) & take quite a regimen of meds that I continued w/during the ttc period.

I'm so sorry you're in pain - I live w/pain everyday of my life and know how had it is.  I hope things get better.  The best thing I know to do when the pain is particularly bad is to lie down (impossible now w/a one year old - LOL) for a while & see how the pain is.

I wish I could be more help!  - jen

Thanks Jen:) I ended up lay down with a tens unit and fell asleep. Just laying down and getting the weight of my head off my spine helped a whole lot. I did take some tylenol. THese spells come and go and usually come from driving over the mountian with the curves. I will have to change banks so I don;t have to cross the mountian and see how that helps. I am soory for you pain adn know what you are going through. Yeah my RE said nsaids effect the making and release of the eggs so I can not take them. It used to lead to many ovasian cysts for me.
