bicep pain

a couple of weeks back I had a moderate to severe pain in the underside of my left ebow.  The pain seems to have relocated to my left bicep.  I can do bench presses without experiencing more pain but curls with over ten pounds seem to aggravate the problem.  I am an active 68 year old man.  Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi!
It is difficult to diagnose the cause of pain in the arm on net. Arm pain in can be due to injury, irritation, or inflammation of muscles, ligaments, tendons, bones and joints. So it could be shoulder pain or elbow pain referred to upper arm region or it can be muscle injury. It can also be due to Scalene Myofascial Pain Syndrome, clots in deep veins, inflammation of veins or lymphatics. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!
