chest pain when i lay on my left side. any help appreciated.

i am 22 and i have sharp pain on my chest whenever i lay on my left side. I have to turn onmy right side because i cant breathe at times and the pain gets too painful. i dont know if this ha anything to do with the chest pains but my bones ache in cold or rainy weather and when i swim in cold water. im making a doctors appt this monday. (this has been goin on for over a year but i thought it would go away on its own) thanks

hi i dont think this will help but if your worried try it lay on your left side put your hand to your cheast and lisson for any sounds that dont sound right if you hear like a crak you have a left op rib that may need to be look at i would not leave things to long
