deparate need of help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

need to find an injection that is supposdly supposed to eliminate my chronic back,leg,neck pain instead of using vicodin that i've been on for over 2 yrs.i also suffer from rheumetoid artritis for 11 yrs now, anxiety, depression, and for those problems i take xanax as well as an antidepressant that i stopped taking because all it did was make me incoherent. does any1 know the name of the once per month injection apparently given in the arm that will take the pain away for the entire month instead of taking vicodin? i'm soo sick of taking pills and i know longter, is very unhealthy for my body, but i have no other options at this point at least untill God willing i get my 2 opinions from neurologist and pray my surgery will last longer than my last 1 which only lasted 2 yrs cuz i went to the wrong type of spine specialist he was a othopedic spine dr wen i shudda gone w/  neurosugeon. some1 please help me i'm so deparate for   a solution to my chronic pain and i have no insurance which makes it so hard

I sue wish there was such an injection that we could take monthly that would eliminate our pain. Unfortunately in all my years I have never heard of it.

There are steroidal injections that can relieve pain but they don't work for everyone and they cannot be given monthly. It most cases a physician will recommend just three a year. There are of course exceptions but certainly not monthly. Could this be what you are talking about?

I hope you will find relief very soon. We all know the challenges of chronic pain. Vicodin is a middle of the road pain medication. There are more potent ones available that may ease your pain. If your pain is not being controlled I would certainly discuss this with your physician.

I have never heard of such an injection but if you find any information about it I would love to check it out! The only injections I have heard of are in the spine where the pain is located.  Good luck! Hope you find some relief!
