different pains/ no answers

I have been dealing with painful "possible" endometriosis for the last year and a half.  They havn't confermed it yet...  I have been having weird things come up every once in a while.. and the doctors can figure them out.  I have had swollen lymps nodes for the last 2 weeks all around on both sides of my stomach and lower abdominal region, but i have no infection, and they are still growing and hurting. I dont have high blood pressure but i am always soo warm and sweaty, i get dizzy very easy. and loose my vision for a few seconds, sit down and them it comes back.  Just in the last month i have started to have horrible headaches...that just hurt my entire head... now its just in the back, i feel too large hard bumps on both sides of the back of my head (just when my head starts to slop down to my neck) and they cause me irritating pain especially when i walk around.  The other day i ran a few steps and i had to sit down the pain was sooo bad.  Could this all be related or seperate ... or what. Thanks!  And i hope this makes sense, i have just been dealing with all these things longer than i should, because i am not getting any answers and things are just getting worse.  Also i have a mild case of scoliosis, could this be causing me the head pain.  THANK YOU AGAIN!

getting the right diagnosis can sometimes take awhile, but as you are going through the tests there are a few things that can help the medical community get to the right answers
one is keeping a journal of you symptoms, even if you only have them occationally.  by journally it helps the dr's get a bigger picture. I was told to even keep a journal of what I was eating just on the off chance that some of the symptoms where related to food.

it could be that you have more than one thing going on that need different treatment.
for instance I have fibromyalga and I started getting a new pain in my lower stomach.  the dr's kept writing off as another fibro pain, turned out I had an ovainin syst.
So it is important to let them know everything.  don't be afraid of the dr's thinking that you are a hypocondrac, just let them know that you are unsure if this or that is important that you just want them to know everything.
good luck

Hello Sickofthepain,
I am glad you found us here at MH. Our members are supportive and caring ppl with good information and suggestions. Welcome.

As Mollyrae stated you have a lot of medical issues going on at one time. Your headaches could be secondary to all the stress your medical issues must surely be causing.

We do have at least one member with endometriosis. Hopefully she will respond to your question. If she does respond soon I will send her a message.

Mollyrae is correct. Tests take forever, it's like you aren't in pain and they have all the time in the world, or at least it seems that way. It is important to be assertive in your medical care. You should not stop until you have answers that you are comfortable with and understand. If you do not receive that from your current physician than get another opinion, and another until you are satisfied with the out come.

In the mean time hang in there. We are all here to listen and aid you in anyway we can. So please keep us posted and take care, Tuck

Hi and welcome to MH. You have so many things happening that it is hard to comment on just one thing. There are no Doctors on this forum just ppl like myself who can offer you advise on things that I or others have gone through. I take it that your Doctor is running a battery of tests?. Unfourtuatly you will most likely have to wait for the results and if your not satisfied with them then get a second and even a third opinion. I wish you luck and keep me informed.....Mollyrae
