Welcome to the PM Forum!
The best chance of getting prescriptions filled out-of state is to deal with a National Pharmacy, such as CVS or Walgreens, etc. That way all of your prescriptions are in their computer system and all you have to do is show your ID they should re-fill them for you. They might check with your Doctor's but that shouldn't be a problem at all.
One of our CL's, Tuck, spends the Winter's in Florida and she had no problem getting her prescriptions re-filled this past winter while she was their.

Presumably the prescription is for an opiate.
