Have had extreme pain under left breast that moves into my back, down my back around my waist and into right front side, this is a burning pain that makes me feel like I am on fire inside. On a scale of 1 to 10 this pain is a 10. The 10 comes at night when I am laying down, starts around 11pm and last til 3 am, the subsides to around a pain level of 3 or 4 the rest of the day. Can't sleep, can't stay still, can't lay down. Dr said white cell count @ 11 and some bateria in urine sample, put on antibiotics and was told to go to er if continue, it did went to er and doc there said nothing is wrong with me, go the impression they thought I just wanted drugs, Now what?
Withe the exception of the pain starting on the left side it sounds like you are having a gallbladder attack and with the high whit cell count I would say it is infected and that is why you are in constant pain. I know you are describing exactly the symptoms I had. I just got mine removed last week. I was feeling sick on top of it all but I didn't realize mine was infected until they opened me up to remove it. But none of my pain started on the left side. here is a link to the gallbladder attack symptoms. http://www.gallbladderattack.com/ It is at least a starting point. maybe someone else knows more about your symptoms. Best wishes, Sissie
