knee injury

i ruptured the tendon/ligaments in my right knee about 4 weeks ago now, i was on a trampoline and someone fell full body weight on the top of my leg, i have had to wear a leg brace and crutches, within the last week i have been able to get around using nothing ( not sure if this is wise though, but its driving me mad)  im worried as my leg just wont bend any more, it feels like its locked or come out of the joint, when it does band by accident its is very very painful so much so it makes me cry, i think i have a very good pain thresh hold too, will this get better, will i ever be able to get back to normal, right now it feels like it will never bend again.

Hi, thank you so much for your reply, great news, after going back to the hospital for the second time, the doctor suggested that i keep pushing it backwards regardless of the pain, i carried out these instructions and im happy to say it has started to heal, it can still be very painful if im caught of guard but at least  i can now bend it back further, so things are looking good, the more i move it the better it will become, perhaps another few weeks and i will be back to normal, yippee!!!! :-)

Sounds like you may have torn your ACL. I did that and if the dr you went to has to do xrays.  When mine torn and it was the right also before the surgery my knee would snap back, wabbaly alittle swollen, but get a second opinion, if it is your acl you could have torn it or completey ripped it in half.
