Hi!

These painful lumps can be neurofibromas (benign collection of nerves and fibers) or corns or calluses. They can also be ganglions which are swellings in the tendon of a muscle. They arise due to repetitive use of joint or due to rheumatoid arthritis or sometimes without a cause too. If the lumps are felt along veins then they can also be clots in veins called deep vein thrombosis and are seen in people who stand or sit in one position for a prolonged period of time. All these conditions can cause tingling in legs or feet. It is best not to ignore painful lumps and consult a doctor immediately. Take care!
