Hi,

I am sorry for the pain.  There is a great forum out there on another website which is http://www.*************.org/search?q=pancreas&community=Pancreatitis .  You will learn more than you ever wanted to know from real people.

Good luck

Hi Maajid,

Welcome to the Pain Mangement Forum, I am sorry to hear about your uncle. There are no physicians on this forum. So please be aware that I am not an expert.

An endoscopic implantation of a stent will not cure pancreatitis to my knowledge. There are medications that can help with the symptoms of this disease. It is very painful.

If you want to seek the advice of one of our physician please click on the word Forums at the top of the page. There are forums that led by physicians.

If I did not understand your question feel free to clarify it.

Best of luck to your uncle.
