methadone&soboxone

What happens if you take 169mlg of methadone and about 1/2 hr, later you take 10mg of soboxone?  I feel like I am physically very weak, like I am going through withdrawls.  I don't know how to stop this feeling?  Do I take more Methadone?  What about Percocet?  Would that help  or hurt at this point.  Do I have to just ride it out?

Glad to hear that you are going to N/A. I have heard it is a wonderful support program. Congratulations on being clean from Heroin. I bet it has been tough and I applaud you.

You can get through the prescription drug abuse too. You are doing all the right things except taking narcotics while on suboxone. Please do not do that!!! You can be in a heap of trouble.

I hope you are also posting in our Substance Abuse Forum. They can better relate to your struggle. Feel free to continue posting here too.

I'm glad that you have found the NA program. You may also want to post in the Substance Abuse Forum. The members there can help you with your addiction. It is a great support site with members going through the same thing as you.

Thank you for all of tge advice.  I absolutly need professional help.  Believe me, I know.  I am in a Methadone program right now.  I have been clean from Heroin now for more than three years, but I still struggle with perscription drugs that my doctor has me on and the methadone.  I am going to my first N/A mtg. tonight.

i agree with catwoman on this, goto hospital, DO NOT take further meds as you are already likely to be sick from the high dose of methadone, and why on earth you took sub with it is beyond me, but you need some professional help NOT MORE NARCOTICS. take care of yourself,

SOBOXONE IS A OPIATE BLOCKER .. SO NO PAIN PILL WILL HAVE ANY EFFECT BESIDES SICKNESS.. OR VOMITING.  YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE SOBOXONE WITH ANY OTHER OPIATE...YOU NEED TO GO TO YOUR DOCTOR OR GO TO THE ER ABOUT THIS... TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE !   THERE IS NO WAY I WOULD MIX SOBOXONE WITH A PAIN KILLER.  SOBOXONE IS A DRUG THAT IS SUPPOSE TO HELP YOU GET OFF OF PAIN PILLS... LIKE OXY'S AND OTHERS LIKE IT.

You will just have to wait until the effects subside and in the future know that you should not take methodone or any other opiate with subexone as it will make you ill.
