Hi Kms,
Welcome to the Pain Management Forum. I am sorry that your pain and symptoms have increased. Can you share with us what you are doing to treat your pain? Have you consulted your PCP (Primary Care Physician)? If not I suggest that you do.
Possibly more then now involving your upper arms you pain is radiating into that area.... thus it would feel like it now is in your upper extremities. Frozen shoulder is a consideration but there are many conditions that have similar symptoms.
Could this be a tendinitis? It just seems unusual that your symptoms are bilateral. It could be pain radiating from a cervical or spinal structure problem. Do you perform repetitive tasks? This could account for bilateral irritation or inflammation of the muscles, tendons or similar structures.
These symptoms could be related to a nerve involvement, such a entrapment or impingement syndrome. Other conditions include PAD (Peripheral artery disease), Peripheral neuropathy, osteoarthritis and similar conditions. The only way to be certain what may be occurring and find the best treatment to consult your PCP.
I'll look forward to hearing from you in the near future. I wish you well.
Peace,
~Tuck
I have bi-laterl frozen shoulder syndrome. look it up and read about it. It just happens for no reason. it takes around 12-24 months for it to go away. i would go to an orthopedic doctor and see. u might need therapy...
