osteochondroma

by kay196, Sep 05, 2009 08:39AM
My 21 year old son is still having a lot of pain after the removal of a osteochondroma on his knee that a tendon was trapped under, it has been a year since the surgery, there are no obvious visual symptoms, he did have a short term CRSP episode but that passed, the MRI shows no tear, any ideas? He has seen three orthopedic surgeons, a pain clinic, and had physical therapy. Thanks

Has he had a nerve conduction study done? A previous doctor I had always said there is not always a reason that can be seen for pain. Nerve pain is something I would look into.
Is your son active? Is this stopping him from normal activities?
