That's some great risk you're taking there.

Have you talked with your doctor about MMJ use?

I take it you're in pain management or you would not be asking this question. You signed a contract that stated you would not use anything except what you were prescribed. Can I ask why you would take a chance on being let go from  PM? If you normally don't smoke then why would you even smoke one single time and take this kind of chance? I don't know how long thc will show up in urine.
Please don't think I'm being rude but getting in to PM can be so very hard and you can be let go for the smallest thing. I know you asked a question but I'm not able to answer it. I just wanted to let you know that if you do pass this test you may want to think twice about ever doing this again. If they let you go they can do this without giving you another refill so then you're looking at possible withdrawal and not being able to find another PM Dr.

Hello,  I have to agree with shinty it sounds like you have saved a pill and are waiting to take it before going to your doctor and having a u.a. performed. I dont like to judge people without knowing the whole story first so I apologize if im wrong. However if you are taking the oxycodone as prescribed why would it matter? There would not be any concern for taking a u.a.? People that sell their meds are the reason its so hard for us chronic pain patients to get the medicine we actually USE and NEED on a daily basis just to be able to function and try to live somewhat of a normal life. I dont know if you are at all aware of this but us chronic pain patients are in a battle in our society today there is a WAR going on to try to get the meds we need! It is so hard in today's society with the stigma attached to chronic pain patients and the stigma attached to opiates to even find a rare Dr left to prescribe opiates. It has gotten so bad that people who need these medications arent getting them and are being turned away by Dr after Dr and why? Because of the people that sell their medications and/or abuse them! There is already a number of things we chronic pain patients have to go through just to get a small amount of medication if we can even find a dr left that will prescribe them what we have to go through is unreal. Nothing makes me more upset then people that abuse their meds/sell them. If this is the case I will tell you these people always get caught eventually and the consequences are prison. Not to mention if someone sells their medication such as oxycodone 30s to someone who is not opiate tolerant and they die it will be traced back to the person that sold them (and they always find who it originated from) then that person would get manslaughter charges. It is in no way shape or form worth risking your life and freedom. Again feel free to correct me if im wrong but your post makes it sound like you kept a pill or 2 to take right before your appt so it will show in your system. ..and by the way they often send out the urine to a lab AFTER you pee in the test strip cup they do this (commonly) to not only confirm the drug prescribed is in your system but to check the LEVELS of the drug in your system that you are prescribed this is how they catch people that sell their meds and then think they can take 1 or 2 of them before their appt and they will show up on the immediate test strip so they will be fine...WRONG. I hope you are not one of these people. I have zero tolerance for people that misuse or sell their pain meds as like I said as a chronic pain patient that needs my medication nothing makes me more upset than these people making it so hard to get the meds we need to live our life. Its not fair that these people that abuse the meds and sell them are taking away our ability to obtain the medication we truly need. If this is the case you have absolutely no buisness having the medication.  truly hope you are not one of these "bad seeds". Good luck to you.

I have had my medication show up in my urine in an hour and forty minutes or so.. I assume it would show up in your second urine after having taken your medication. Did you save a pill for your monthly urine test? If you did, then you are one of the people causing us legitimate patients all sorts of grief. I can't think of any other reason why it would be so important that it show up in a hurry other than the one I stated. I don't know what else to say.........I hope I'm wrong about this.
